What We Do

Our Works

Education Project

In 2023, our school opened its doors with an enrollment of 287 children, marking the beginning of a journey toward giving every child a chance to learn and thrive. Today, we have two permanent classrooms, yet the Ministry of Education in Uganda requires a minimum of ten. Expanding our facilities is not just a need; it is a promise to the children who dream of a safe, permanent space to learn.
Through the Education Project, Kwezi Child Foundation provides formal education from nursery through to tertiary levels, ensuring that vulnerable children are not left behind. Beyond the classroom, we also empower youth who have dropped out of school by equipping them with hands-on vocational skills such as mechanics, bricklaying, carpentry, hairdressing, and tailoring. These skills allow them to rebuild their futures with dignity and self-reliance.
Guided by our slogan, “An inclusive environment for all children,” this project is more than education; it is hope, empowerment, and a pathway out of poverty. With your support, we can expand classrooms, reach more children, and transform lives through the power of learning

Our Works

Education for the Disadvantaged

Every child deserves the chance to learn, but for many disadvantaged children and orphans, poverty closes the school doors. This is why KCF was born to give vulnerable children the gift of education by covering school fees, meals, and essential learning materials.
When we support a child’s education, we do more than provide books and uniforms. We restore hope, dignity, and the chance for a brighter future. With your support, together we can keep more children in school and change their story forever.

Our Works

Medical Care Outreach

At Kwezi Child Foundation, we believe every child and adult deserves access to quality healthcare. Yet in the communities we serve, families often face overwhelming barriers, limited medical facilities, high costs, and little awareness about preventive care. These challenges leave children and adults vulnerable to preventable illnesses, malnutrition, and health complications. Our Medical Care Outreach program responds by bringing essential services directly to those in need, including medical check-ups, treatment for common illnesses, family planning, child immunisations, and clinical support. We also prioritise health education, equipping families with knowledge on nutrition, hygiene, maternal care, and disease prevention.
For many children, healthcare means the difference between missing school due to illness and having the strength to pursue their education. For parents, it means the peace of mind to provide for their families and build better lives. Each outreach brings hope, healing, and dignity back to those who would otherwise go without care. With your support, we can expand these outreaches, provide essential medicines and vaccines, and create healthier futures for children and families in vulnerable communities.

Our Works

Skills Empowerment

At Kwezi Child Foundation, we recognize that breaking the cycle of poverty requires more than short-term relief; it requires equipping individuals with the tools to build sustainable livelihoods. Many young people and families in the communities we serve face unemployment, limited opportunities, and a lack of practical skills to earn a living. Without intervention, this often leads to dependency, hopelessness, and cycles of generational poverty.
Through our Skills Empowerment program, we provide hands-on training in carpentry, tailoring, hairdressing, and mechanics, practical trades that create immediate income-generating opportunities. By engaging youth, women, and disadvantaged families in these skill-building programs, we help them develop the confidence and capacity to support themselves and their households. Beyond technical skills, we also encourage entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and community-based income projects, ensuring that participants are not only skilled but also empowered to thrive in a competitive world.
This initiative is more than training; it is dignity restored, self-reliance regained, and hope renewed. With the support of partners and donors, we can expand our reach, provide modern training tools, and empower even more community members to transform their futures through meaningful work.

Our Works

Clean Water

KCF with support from Luena foundaton and Sumar Lakhani foundation were able to construct a borehole  to provide clean water to Kyamujumbi community and the other three communities surrounding are dependant on this water source.

Our Works

Agriculture

At Kwezi Child Foundation, we believe that food security is the foundation of a healthy and thriving community. In many of the areas we serve, families struggle with hunger and malnutrition due to poverty and limited access to sustainable sources of food. To address this challenge, we have engaged communities in agricultural projects that not only provide food for families but also create long-term solutions to hunger.
Through these initiatives, we cultivate a wide variety of crops such as bananas, pineapples, beans, maize, cassava, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, onions, and cabbages. These projects help to ensure that children and their families have access to nutritious meals while also equipping communities with skills in modern farming practices. By involving community members in every stage, from the distribution of seeds, planting, to harvesting, we promote ownership, self-reliance, and resilience against food shortages.
Our agriculture program goes beyond feeding families; it is about building sustainable livelihoods. By producing food locally, reducing dependency, and fostering income-generating opportunities, we are empowering communities to rise out of poverty. With donor support, we can expand our agricultural projects, introduce better farming technologies, and reach even more families with food and hope for a sustainable future.

Our Works

Feeding the children

At Kwezi Child Foundation, we know that a hungry child cannot learn, play, or dream. For many of the children under our care, the meals they receive at our center are often the only reliable source of nutrition they have each day. Poverty and food insecurity in the communities we serve mean that countless children go to bed hungry, making it difficult for them to concentrate in class or grow into healthy, strong adults.

To address this urgent need, we provide two nutritious meals each day, breakfast and lunch, to every child in our care. These meals not only sustain their bodies but also give them the energy and focus to succeed in school and participate actively in learning. Beyond food, mealtimes create a sense of stability, dignity, and belonging, reminding each child that they are valued and cared for.

Our Feeding Program is more than just providing meals; it is an investment in a child’s future. When children are well-nourished, they perform better academically, stay in school longer, and have the strength to break free from the cycle of poverty. With the support of partners and donors, we can continue to expand this program, improve the quality of meals, and reach even more vulnerable children who are in urgent need of daily nourishment.

Our Works

Comfort and Care

At Kwezi Child Foundation, we believe that every child deserves to live with dignity, warmth, and security. Yet many of the children and families we serve lack even the most necessities: clothing, shoes, blankets, mattresses, and school bags. Without these essentials, children face daily struggles that affect their health, confidence, and ability to focus on education.

Through our Comfort and Care initiative, we provide vulnerable children with clothing to protect them, mattresses and blankets for a good night’s rest, and school bags to carry their learning materials with pride. These simple items may seem small, but to a child in need, they represent comfort, belonging, and the hope of a brighter tomorrow.

With donor support, we can continue restoring dignity to more children, ensuring that they not only survive but thrive in an environment where they feel valued and cared for. Together, we can replace hardship with comfort and give every child the chance to face life with confidence.
